Business Insider has predicted 45% of all ecommerce revenue will be derived from mobile commerce by the end of 2020. Javelin’s estimate is slightly higher. Javelin predicts that 49% of all online retail commerce will be mobile commerce transactions by 2020. Either way, mobile ecommerce will continue to grow as consumers choose to access the internet via their mobile devices rather than a desktop or laptop computer.
