Preparing toย Design and Launch Your Website is not an easy task. You have to consider the website design, the content, and who you want to see it. There are many steps involved, and once you have created your website, you need to launch it.

7 Hot Tips to Help you Design and Launch Your Website

  1. Set goals and know your audience
  2. Select your content
  3. Test the website
  4. Mobile capabilities
  5. Social Media presence
  6. The need for load speed
  7. Why Google is important

Here are a few tips to help you launch a successful website for your business.

7 Hot Tips to Help you Design and Launch Your Website

1. Set goals and know your audience

It is important to know what you want before you begin to save time and resources. Ask yourself what you want your website to centre around. Do you want to attract customers, sell something, or inform your readers? Once you know what you want your website to do, you can decide which features to add, such as browser capabilities and customer interactions.

2. Select your content

Ensure all the new page content is relevant to your business goals. Proofread your content for spelling, grammar, and tone. If you are working on your website solo, get multiple people to proofread your website. Be sure your tone is consistent and appropriate for the target audience. Additionally, adding a blog to your website will help attract customers and can be used to answer business-related questions or concerns. Have the content you want to post in your blog prepared and gather enough to last at least a month. This will save you time and allow your website to stay current.

3. Test theย website

Consult an outside source that has no knowledge of your business and let them try out the website. Have them test it using all the internet browsers and on mobile devices. Ask questions to see how easy it is to navigate and if all the links are working properly. Ask them what they can tell you about your company from the web page. This will help you edit content, work out any glitches before launching, and find any broken or insignificant links found on your page.

4. Mobile capabilities

Responsive web design is a website’s ability to be viewed on any device. Your users should have the same experience with your web page on a smartphone or laptop. Ensure your new web page is responsive and can automatically convert to a mobile version when necessary. This feature has become mandatory for most web pages.

5. Social Mediaย presence

Connect to social media through Facebook Pages, Twitter and Instagram. The more presence you have on social media, the more exposure your website will have. This will also allow you to target who you want to visit your website. You can create targeted Facebook and Instagram ads that will show up on usersโ€™ pages based on your business goals. This includes location, age, gender, and many other factors.

6. The need for load speed

The layout of your website also determines how quickly it loads. If you have a lot of content on the homepage, it will slow down your load speed. Most people get frustrated quickly if a page takes too long to load. Load testing your site allows you to find places it can be improved such as compressing large files or pictures.

7. Why Google is important

Search Engineย optimisation (SEO)ย organises websites based on how relevant the search engine thinks it is to the user. Create a Google Business Profile to help increase your SEO for Google. Other tips to increase your SEO include an appropriate title, a descriptive URL, mobility, and speed.

These are only a few steps to keep in mind when launching your new web page. At Pixel Fish we are dedicated to helping your business grow and we believe the first step is having a great web page. Our services include creating comprehensive web pages, digital marketing, and several other services. To learn how we can help with your web design needs, talk to our teamย or stop by today.
