Whilst the vast majority of Pixel Fish clients engage with us for our ongoing Hosting Support & Maintenance, for various reasons you may wish to self-manage your website hosting.
We have created this page to provide you with all the information you may need to consider if this option is right for you.
Website Hosting
Setup your own business-grade WordPress Website Hosting.
SiteGround offers plans from $25/month. (This level of hosting is comparable to our Essentials Plan.)
Kinsta offers Google Cloud Platform hosting from $45/month. (This level of hosting is comparable to our Professional Plan and above.)
Whatever hosting you choose, it needs to meet the minimum WordPress requirements and should include Nightly Backups, an SSL Certificate and a Security Firewall.
Website Migration
You can either;
1) Deploy the website yourself from a provided zipped backup.
OR
2) Engage Pixel Fish to perform the migration for you for a $660 migration fee.*
* This fee is waived when Pixel Fish is providing the ongoing hosting support & maintenance.

Support & Maintenance
No hosting provider offers WordPress Support & Maintenance.
This sits outside of their scope of hosting and needs to be outsourced to a WordPress web designer and would include the following:

(Min. 2hrs/year) - WordPress/Theme/Plugin Updates (Min. 6hrs/year)
